Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Repair Specialist, Maintenance Mechanic), you'll perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance. This includes diagnosing and repairing defective parts, adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments, and testing device performance. You may be required to operate multiple machining operations and perform welding tasks. You'll also participate in continuous improvement activities, update maintenance records, troubleshoot control systems, and use predictive maintenance technologies.

Qualifications
  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
  • Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry.
  • Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems, and ability to analyze problems and perform repairs.
  • Proficiency in using basic and specialized tools.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
