Maintenance Technician

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Repair Specialist, Maintenance Mechanic), you'll perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance. This includes troubleshooting, dismantling devices to repair or replace defective parts, testing device performance, and conducting tests for electrical circuitry and mechanical systems. You may also be required to operate various machining operations and perform welding tasks. Additionally, you'll participate in continuous improvement activities and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications
  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
  • Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry.
  • Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems with the ability to analyze problems and perform repairs.
  • Proficiency in using basic and specialized tools.
  • Willingness to travel if required.
