Role

As a Controls Technician (also known as Manufacturing Engineering Technician, Equipment Controls Specialist), you will be the go-to expert for troubleshooting and repairing machine controls related issues. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of production equipment. Your responsibilities will include providing technical controls support, assisting with machine controls downtime issues, and implementing controls improvement tasks and projects.

Qualifications
  • Mechatronics Associates Degree (or similar) from an accredited university.
  • 4+ years experience in an automated manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and program updates - Siemens TIA Portal or Allen-Bradley.
  • Experience with HMI troubleshooting - Siemens Comfort Panel or Allen-Bradley FactoryTalk.
  • Proficiency in Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
