Collections Specialist

Role

As a Collections Specialist (also known as Accounts Receivable Specialist, Collections Agent), you will be responsible for managing and reconciling customer payments, maintaining financial accuracy, managing returned payments, and reconciling sales tax variances. You will also be in charge of reviewing collection queues, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring the confidentiality of financial records.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of collections experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Word Processing, Excel, Outlook, and data entry.
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively over the telephone.
  • Strong knowledge of customer service ethics, principles, and procedures.
  • Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of organizational skills with great attention to detail.
