Path Engineering

As a Tool & Die Maker (also known as Tool and Die Repair Specialist, Tool Room Technician), you'll be responsible for understanding cutting clearances, die timing, forming, ready benders, aerial and filler cams. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair progressive stamping dies, operate manual and automatic tool room equipment, and verify the conformance of machined parts to specifications. You will also work in a team environment and may be required to work overtime depending on the workload.

• High school education.
• 5+ years of tool and die repair experience in metal stamping or related technical field.
• Experience with progressive dies.
• Accredited journeyman's tool maker certificate preferred, but not required.
• Must possess basic measuring tools, hand tools, and toolbox.
• Ability to operate and follow manuals/procedures, work with little to no supervision.
• Ability to lift/move up to 35 pounds.
• Forklift & Overhead Crane experience required.
