Bus Technician

Role

As a Bus Technician (also known as Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Duty Mechanic), you'll perform diagnostics, repairs, and rebuilds on diesel engines, heavy duty brakes, and electrical systems. You'll also troubleshoot and repair air conditioning systems, transmissions, and suspensions, and perform alignments.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience with hydraulics and automotive electrical/lighting systems.
  • 2+ years of experience in medium or heavy-duty truck repair.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record (CDL is a plus).
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and experience with hydraulics.
  • Must have own hand tools and be a self-starter.
  • ASC Certifications are preferred but not required.
