Setup Mechanic

Role

As a Setup Mechanic (also known as Equipment Technician, Maintenance Mechanic), you'll be responsible for directing and controlling processes in accordance with defined policies and procedures. You'll provide expedient service to all assigned equipment, ensuring maximum efficiency and quality performance. Your duties will also include assisting other engineering associates, fixing breakdowns, completing department work lists, working on various equipment and machinery, and reading electrical drawings.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in PC hardware components, desktop operation system software and application software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve opportunities.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and operate motorized equipment (fork trucks, tuggers, etc.).
  • Electrical background.
  • Experience in creating preventive maintenance plans, equipment troubleshooting, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, machine setups for production runs, and working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic computer skills.
