Maintenance Technician

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Maintenance Specialist, Maintenance Mechanic), you'll be responsible for maintaining all converting and corrugating equipment to minimize downtime. You'll ensure safe work habits, troubleshoot programmable controllers, use maintenance software, and plan and schedule maintenance work. You'll also be expected to teach other maintenance staff, follow up on work to ensure proper repairs, and maintain machinery for optimal performance.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to provide own tools necessary for maintenance tasks.
  • Experience in the corrugated industry and as a forklift operator preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions on work orders, specifications, and machine drawings.
  • Proficiency in PLC Troubleshooting, Heavy Equipment Repair, Equipment Troubleshooting, Ammonia Refrigeration Systems, Electrical Troubleshooting, Hydraulics, and PLC Programming.
