Path Engineering

As a Field Service Technician (also known as Equipment Maintenance Technician, Machine Tool Technician), you'll be responsible for the repair and maintenance of machine tool equipment and controls. This role involves independent work to ensure top-quality service and customer satisfaction. You'll travel to customer sites for installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance tasks. You'll identify areas for equipment performance improvement, carry out preventative maintenance, and resolve issues with electrical and mechanical components.

• Associate’s degree in a related field preferred; High School Diploma/GED from a technical school is required.
• Minimum of one year of applicable experience.
• Experience working with CNC controls.
• Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft programs and other related business programs.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the workweek; some overnight travel required.
• Must provide basic hand tools for electrical/mechanical repair at own cost.
