CNC Programmer

Role

As a CNC Lathe Programmer/Machinist (also known as CNC Operator, CNC Machinist), you'll be responsible for programming (either at the machine or CAM-assisted), setting up, operating, and documenting jobs in a precision manufacturing environment. You'll also perform preventive maintenance on machines as per schedules and maintain high-quality standards as per customer requirements.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D Equivalent.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in a manufacturing machining environment.
  • 3-5 years of programming experience with CNC Lathes.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding of geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience inspecting parts using micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and other inspection equipment.
  • Ability to select proper tooling to manufacture complex details.
  • Experience troubleshooting machining issues with various types of CNC lathes.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM Software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly, occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
