Diesel Technician

Role

As a Lead Diesel Technician (also known as Senior Diesel Mechanic, Diesel Maintenance Specialist), your key duties will include organizing and tracking PO's, managing shop workload, ordering parts, collaborating with the Shop Service Manager, diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer-related issues, and performing preventive maintenance on our fleet of trucks & trailers. You'll also perform DOT inspections per FMSCA guidelines and should be physically capable to perform all job duties.

  • Monday - Friday, 7AM - 3:30PM schedule.

Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ownership of necessary essential tools.
  • Technical or advanced degree or 5+years of equivalent maintenance experience.
  • Ability to obtain a Class B license.
  • ASE Certification in 4 areas (preventative maintenance and brakes preferred).
