Role

As a Powder Coat Painter (also known as Powder Application Specialist, Industrial Painter), you'll be responsible for setting up and operating powder application equipment, including powder guns, hoppers, and booths. You'll paint various shapes and sizes of steel and aluminum components on a moving conveyor line, ensuring all parts are properly painted and work instructions are followed precisely. You'll also maintain powder levels, clean the environment, and track powder usage for all production runs.

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of powder coat painting experience.
  • Ability to work positively in a team environment and multitask in a dynamic setting.
  • Knowledge of Word Processing and Project Management software.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as shop orders, purchase orders, and production documentation.
  • Math skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Physical demands: Must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, squat, reach and perform repetitive hand and finger movements. Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to pass general respirator medical evaluation.
