Role

As a Diesel Equipment Mechanic (also known as Heavy Duty Mechanic, Reefer Mechanic), you'll be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, rebuilding, and replacing parts on diesel equipment. You'll perform preventative maintenance, handle road service calls, maintain inventory, and ensure a clean and safe work environment. You'll also have the opportunity to take on increased responsibility and earn additional certifications.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 7 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic, or 5 years of experience with Diesel Mechanic Certification or TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certification.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, manage multiple functions in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
