Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Facility Maintenance Specialist, Equipment Maintenance Technician), you'll be responsible for daily maintenance in a manufacturing environment. Your duties will include mechanical facility maintenance, preventative maintenance (PM), equipment upgrades, and new system installations. You'll work both independently and as part of a team, performing daily maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks on all facility equipment and systems.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in general maintenance with an emphasis on mechanical, electrical and/or plumbing.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules and procedures, maintenance work instructions, and documented equipment specifications.
  • Experience with Environmental Health and Safety training in Lock out/Tagout/Verify, scissor lift certification, NFPA 70E, and electrical is preferred.
  • Ability to operate a scissor lift and boom lift.
  • Proficiency in HVAC, heavy equipment repair, equipment troubleshooting, facilities maintenance experience, refrigeration systems, electrical troubleshooting skills, mechanical troubleshooting skills, hydraulics experience, machine safety inspections, troubleshooting CNC machines, and experience in a manufacturing environment.
