Maintenance Technician

Role

As a Maintenance Supervisor (also known as Facilities Manager, Maintenance Team Lead), you'll assist in coordinating the work of the maintenance team, determine materials and supplies to be used, perform basic repairs, and make recommendations on new equipment purchases. You'll also update inventory, maintain a safe and clean working environment, and perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years education and training beyond high school level in general maintenance and repair.
  • Minimum 10 years experience with electronics and machines, preferably food/drug production and packaging equipment.
  • Ability to recognize electrical, plumbing, and mechanical malfunctions or equipment failures.
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems and computer skills.
  • Proficiency in PLC Troubleshooting Skills, Creating Preventive Maintenance Plans, Facilities Maintenance Experience, Electrical Troubleshooting Skills, Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills, and Machine Safety Inspections.
  • Experience with MIG Welder, Labeling Systems, TIG Welder, Packaging Machines, and Stick Welder.
