Controls Engineer

Role

As an Automation Engineer (also known as Controls Engineer, Robotics Engineer), you'll be responsible for installing, commissioning, programming, updating, and troubleshooting assembly cell equipment and individual operations. You'll work closely with a cross-functional team to implement automation projects and improve assembly cell efficiency or throughput. You'll also perform all controls engineering tasks required to troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade all existing equipment and data collection systems.

Qualifications
  • Engineering Degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with electrical circuits, control systems, safety systems, and power circuits up to 480 vac.
  • Proficiency with PLC and HMI programming, robot programming, ladder logic, and software including: PC’s, Industrial networks, PLC’s, HMI’s, Safety Controllers, vision systems, AutoCAD, Excel, Word, Outlook, Industrial robot programming.
