CNC Machinist

Role

As a Machine Operator (also known as CNC Lathe Operator, CNC Milling Machine Operator), you'll be responsible for setting up and operating conventional machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders. You'll work with both metallic and nonmetallic pieces in a low volume/high mix environment. Your role will also involve reading blueprints or job orders for product specifications, securing tools and work pieces, and ensuring the quality of machined work pieces.

Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in CNC Tooling, G-Code, M-Code, Machine Setups for Production Runs, and Manual Machining Skills.
  • Experience with CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) (Fanuc, Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, Dmg Mori Seiki), CNC Lathe (2-4 axis) (Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, Dmg Mori Seiki), and CAM Software (Mastercam).
