CNC Machinist

Role

As a CNC Machinist (also known as CNC Operator, CNC Machine Technician), you'll be responsible for setting up and operating CNC and manual machine tools to manufacture precise parts. Your role will extend beyond making geometric offsets and program edits, requiring you to visualize tool paths and fully understand G code programming. You'll also be expected to read blueprints and have a shop floor understanding of GD&T. Your work will involve a variety of machine tools, ranging from CNC lathes to multi-axis CNC machining centers.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational/technical school training and apprenticeship in Machining Technology or CNC Machining trade school preferred.
  • Ability to operate various types of machine tools to perform progressive machining.
  • Excellent mechanical, time management, and organizational skills, with an attention to detail.
