Path Engineering

As a Welder/Fabricator (also known as Metal Fabricator, Welding Technician), you'll be responsible for welding and fabricating metal grating to precise specifications. You'll interpret basic drawings, perform simple fabrications, set up and operate welding equipment, and ensure quality and productivity standards are met. You'll also be tasked with the safe operation of overhead and jib cranes, various power tools, and performing routine maintenance on equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience and/or knowledge in MIG and Stick Welding, Oxy/Fuel torch, Plasma torch experience on Carbon, Stainless Steel, and/or Aluminum; AWS D1.1, D1.5 and/or D1.2.
• Ability to read, interpret and comprehend blueprint drawings; Use and safely operate overhead cranes; Must be able to read and understand both metric and standard tape measures.
