Maintenance Technician

Role

As a Senior Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Maintenance Specialist, Maintenance Engineer), you'll primarily be responsible for the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment. You'll also perform facility repairs and maintenance work orders in accordance to safety and appearance standards, ensuring optimum equipment efficiency and reliability. The scope of work includes all electrical, mechanical, automation, facility and supporting infrastructure systems.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; relevant technical certification (i.e. Certified Maintenance Technician) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience with mechanical/electrical equipment repair; a minimum of 5+ years as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and basic knowledge in the care and use of power equipment. Should possess a strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, with knowledge in the operation of building automation and electronic control systems.
