Role

As a Torpedo Technician II (also known as Electro-Mechanical Technician, Manufacturing Technician), you'll be responsible for the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of key components for heavyweight torpedo systems. This includes circuit checkout, shaft balance, tight tolerance assembly, and environmental testing such as thermal cycling, vibration testing, and external pressure testing. You'll be a crucial part of the production team, ensuring quality control, safety, and continuous improvement in all processes.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent education certification.
  • Minimum of three years of electro-mechanical technical experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or research and development environment.
  • Desirable: Completion of a two-year technical degree from an accredited school in engineering technology, electronics, or similar field. Experience in high/low voltage, electronics, plumbing, PLC’s, HVAC, instrumentation, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
