EHS Specialist

Role

As an EHS Specialist (also known as Safety Coordinator, Environmental Health and Safety Officer), you'll assist in planning and implementing safety and environmental policies and procedures, conduct EHS audits, manage workers compensation cases, and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal EHS regulations.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
  • 1-3 years' experience in a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Outlook email and calendar.
  • Desire to pursue certifications such as Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Certified Safety Professional (ASP/CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
