Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Repair Specialist, Industrial Maintenance Mechanic), you'll perform mid to expert-level preventative maintenance and repairs. Duties include diagnosing problems, dismantling devices to remove defective parts, repairing or replacing these parts, and testing the device's performance. You'll also operate various machining operations, comply with housekeeping standards, participate in continuous improvement activities, troubleshoot control systems, and assist lower-level technicians.

Qualifications
  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED), with an Associate's degree in a technical field and 3 years of related experience in general industry, or 5 years of related experience in general industry.
  • Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems, with the ability to analyze problems and perform repairs.
  • Proficiency in equipment troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting skills, mechanical troubleshooting skills, hydraulics experience, and experience in a manufacturing environment.
