Role

As a Master Electrician (also known as Electrical Technician, Industrial Electrician), your main role will be to support daily production activities by installing, diagnosing, repairing, and servicing electrical, packaging, and bakery equipment. You'll ensure all tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and accurately to maintain and improve plant performance. Your responsibilities will also include using various tools to install and service electrical systems, observing safety guidelines, documenting each project, updating client records, providing material cost and time estimates, and training apprentices.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Relevant license or certification.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as an Electrician.
  • Experience in the food industry is an asset.
  • Superb customer service skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and telephonic communication.
  • Experience with power tools and other equipment used in construction.
  • Physical strength and stamina.
  • Firm grasp of health and safety codes.
  • Patience when teaching apprentices.
