Role

As a Maintenance Mechanic (also known as Maintenance Technician, Equipment Repair Specialist), your primary responsibility will be the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of all baking, packaging, and process machinery. This includes managing site auxiliary equipment in a safe and efficient manner. You will ensure safety and food-safety by adhering to all company, OSHA, and government rules and procedures. You will also support the preventative maintenance program, complete assigned work orders, assist with equipment changeovers, and identify required parts for inventory.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred. An associate's degree and/or technical school certification or training in basic mechanics or electricity is a plus.
  • Preferred - 3 years’ experience maintaining manufacturing systems and equipment in an automated plant. Training/experience with compressed air systems, boilers, pneumatics, and hydraulics is a plus.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes. Ability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions with a high level of detail and accuracy.
