Role

As an SMT Operator (also known as Surface Mount Technology Operator, Electronics Manufacturing Technician), you'll be responsible for monitoring and maintaining equipment used to create electronic circuits. Your duties will include SMT operation and process management, troubleshooting equipment, performing setup and product changeovers, and installing and repairing electronic components. You'll also perform visual inspections of SMT assemblies and maintain accurate job tracking records.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience with pick and place automated assembly machines.
  • Proficiency in ISO 9001 Certification, machine setups for production runs, excellent communication skills, and blueprint reading.
  • Strong focus on quality control, safety management, and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble small parts and components.
  • Ability to identify electronic components, understand Bill of Materials & Drawings, and demonstrate reliable attendance, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
