Maintenance Technician

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Maintenance Specialist, Machinery Repair Technician), your main duties will involve installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll be responsible for inspecting and testing machinery, following preventative maintenance schedules, and discussing any issues with supervisors. You'll also dismantle defective machines, install new or repaired parts, and ensure adherence to all safety procedures and policies.

Qualifications
  • 1-year certificate from a college or technical school, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in PLC Troubleshooting, Equipment Troubleshooting, Electrical Troubleshooting, Mechanical Troubleshooting, and Hydraulics.
  • Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (Fanuc, Omron, Schneider Electric, Beckoff, Modicon, B&R Industrial Automation, Sigmatek, Panasonic), and Servo Motors.
