Field Service Senior Maintenance Technician - Chicago Region

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Repair Specialist, Maintenance Engineer), you'll perform expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance, source parts and supplies, optimize maintenance procedures, operate various machining operations, and troubleshoot complex control systems. You'll also document work performed, provide assistance to lower level technicians, utilize advanced maintenance technologies, and complete on-the-job training for career development.

Qualifications
  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
  • Associates degree with a Technical focus and 10 years of related experience in specific industry; or, 12 years of experience in specific industry.
  • Experience in condition based maintenance techniques, precision mechanical alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment.
  • Experience in programmable logic controllers, field device troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical drive and motor systems.
  • Proficiency in Equipment Troubleshooting, Electrical Troubleshooting Skills, Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills, Hydraulics Experience, Troubleshooting Industrial Automation Equipment, PLC Programming Experience, and PLC Wiring Experience.
  • Experience in a Manufacturing Environment.
  • Ability to use Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (Fanuc, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Siemens), and Servo Motors.
