Industrial Maintenance Technician

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Repair Specialist, Maintenance Mechanic), you'll perform expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance, including diagnosing and repairing defective parts, adjusting functional parts of devices, and testing equipment performance. You'll also operate multiple machining operations, comply with housekeeping standards, and participate in continuous improvement activities. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting complex control systems, utilizing predictive maintenance technologies, and updating records. You'll also have the opportunity to provide assistance to junior technicians and contribute to project teams.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Associates degree with a Technical focus and 5 years of related experience in specific industry; or, 7 years of experience in specific industry.
  • Experience in predictive technologies, precision alignments, and general maintenance of applicable process equipment.
  • Proficiency in PLC Troubleshooting Skills, Equipment Troubleshooting, Electrical Troubleshooting Skills, Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills, and experience in a Manufacturing Environment.
  • Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), and Conveyor Systems.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
