Path Engineering

As an Electronics Assembly Specialist (also known as Production Operator, Assembly Technician), you'll perform a variety of tasks relating to the production of electronic and mechanical assemblies. You'll install and inspect components, interpret wiring diagrams and schematic drawings, and ensure assemblies meet IPC standards. You'll also perform modifications, soldering, and rework according to specifications and work instructions.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 7+ years of hand soldering experience.
• Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic discharge) procedures.
• Proficiency in IPC-A-610, Electrical Schematics, and Basic Computer Skills.
• Experience in electronics assembly and inspection with in-process soldering (both through hole and surface mount), rework/repair, wire attach, and mechanical assembly preferred.
• IPC-610, J-STD-001 and 7711/7721 certification preferred.
