Calibration Technician

Role

As a Calibration Technician (also known as Technical Support Specialist, Calibration Engineer), you'll travel to customer sites for calibration, repair, and technical support. You'll read quality control manuals, test specifications, select and install accessories, regulate controls, observe readings, adjust calibration mechanisms, prepare calibration certificates, and interact with other departments to resolve related issues. You'll also assist in creating calibration procedures, developing new product capabilities, and maintaining necessary databases.

Qualifications
  • Associates degree from a junior college or technical school; and four years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Strong communication skills, customer focus, and safety awareness.
