Role

As a Commercial HVAC Mechanic (also known as HVAC Technician, HVAC Specialist), you'll be responsible for maintaining site facilities systems and equipment. This includes installing, inspecting, and fixing chillers, pumps, freezers, cooling, and ventilation systems. You'll also perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to increase longevity and troubleshoot and repair current HVAC system issues. Occasionally, you'll perform other general maintenance activities such as resetting breakers, replacing ceiling tiles, patching paint, and fixing plumbing leaks.

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in a related field (or relevant technical education) with 3 or more years of experience with HVAC certification/license.
  • EPA Certification through the Environmental Protection Agency to handle refrigerants required.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, ability to explain complex HVAC issues.
