Maintenance Technician - Food Manufacturing

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Maintenance Specialist, Maintenance Engineer), you'll perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation equipment, conduct machine safety inspections, and collaborate with the production team to optimize equipment performance. You'll also assist in the programming and wiring of PLCs, maintain and repair hydraulic systems, and stay updated on industry trends and advancements in equipment technology.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong PLC troubleshooting skills with experience in Allen Bradley and Siemens systems.
  • Solid electrical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of machine safety protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with hydraulics and industrial automation equipment.
  • Familiarity with variable frequency drives (VFD) and servo motors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
