Role

As a CNC Machinist (also known as CNC Operator, CNC Technician), you'll be responsible for operating and setting up CNC machining work centers, performing quality inspections, and maintaining precision to 1000th of an inch. You may be operating up to 6 machines, ensuring adherence to technical drawings, and keeping your work area clean.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent, with trade school certification in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years machining experience or education equivalent in related field.
  • Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machining work centers, making tool changes, and making in-process offset changes.
  • Ability to read and follow standard work, use metrology equipment effectively, and read blueprints.
  • Working knowledge of CNC controls i.e. Fanuc, Siemens, Okuma OSP, and basic math and PC skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to work with minimum supervision and collaborate effectively with a team.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
