Role
As a CNC Machinist (also known as CNC Operator, CNC Technician), your main duties will include operating CNC machines, setting up and running parts, performing quality inspections, maintaining cleanliness of machines, and working with precision to tolerances as fine as 1000th of an inch. You may be tasked with running multiple machines, ranging from 2 to 6 at a time.

- Opportunity to work with a variety of CNC machines including 3-4 axis VMC, 2-4 axis CNC Lathe, CNC Grinder, 5+ axis VMC, and 5+ axis CNC Lathe.
- Work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, with 2 years machining experience or education equivalent in related field.
- Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machining work centers, making tool changes and in-process offset changes.
- Strong skills in reading and following standard work, using metrology equipment, reading blueprints, understanding GD & T, and basic PC skills.
- Working knowledge of CNC controls i.e. Fanuc, Siemens, Okuma OSP, and familiarity with tooling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking/problem-solving capabilities, and ability to work with minimum supervision and well with others.
- Physical ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
- Trade school certification in related field and any related professional education or training is a plus.
