Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Repair Technician, Manufacturing Equipment Technician), you'll ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment by diagnosing and repairing various types of machinery. Your role will be dynamic, potentially involving emergency repairs or equipment adjustments for increased efficiency. You'll collaborate with other technicians, machine operators, supervisors, and department managers to resolve mechanical issues.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED, with an associate's degree in a maintenance-related discipline or two years of experience in a maintenance environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
  • Experience operating shop equipment such as hydraulic and mechanical presses, bench grinders, drill presses, milling machines, and lathes.
  • Experience with precise measuring instruments such as calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, and depth gauges.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey issues and solutions to cross-functional team members.
