Machine Operator - Plastic Extrusion

Role

As an Extrusion Line Operator and Blender (also known as Manufacturing Technician, Production Line Operator), you'll be responsible for ensuring the successful production of finished materials. This includes adhering to all safety policies and protocols, operating machines and equipment at optimum performance levels, performing minor maintenance tasks, and promoting worksite safety, product quality, and operations efficiency.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent, with a preference for a 2-year technical school or college certification.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a preference for plastics extrusion/molding experience.
  • Proficiency in tool/die/mold setup, mechanical troubleshooting, twin screw compounding, and various types of plastic material handling. Experience with injection molding and extrusion machines is a plus.
