Maintenance Technician

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Technician, Maintenance Engineer), you'll ensure smooth operation of all types of manufacturing equipment through quick in-depth troubleshooting and repair. You'll collaborate with other technicians, machine operators, supervisors, and department managers to resolve mechanical issues. Your expertise may be called on to fix urgent issues or implement new ideas to improve efficiency.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED, with 2 years of work experience in a maintenance environment, or an Associate’s Degree in a maintenance-related field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics: electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic.
  • Proficient skills with precision measuring equipment, such as calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, and depth gauges.
  • Experience in high-speed manufacturing, bottling, beverage, packaging, or plastics industries preferred.
