CNC Laser Operator

Role

As a CNC Laser Operator (also known as Laser Technician, CNC Machine Operator), you'll be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lasers, reviewing work orders and specifications, performing quality checks, and ensuring the dimensions of the finished workpiece. You'll also be tasked with removing burrs, staging parts for the next process, reading and interpreting prints and specifications, downloading program files to machine controllers, and performing first-piece inspections. Additionally, you'll operate fork trucks to move products and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in machine setups for production runs, blueprint reading, quality inspection, programming machine vision systems, and deburring.
  • Experience with calipers and micrometers, CNC Laser Cutter (Trumpf), vertical lathe, and forklifts.
  • Valid driver's license for forklift operation.
