Role

As a Machinist (also known as Equipment Technician, Tool and Die Maker), you'll be responsible for manufacturing and repairing fluid film bearings and seals. You'll interpret blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions to operate a variety of machining tools and equipment. You'll also ensure the work area is clean and safe, maintain quality and efficiency levels, and use precision measuring instruments to maintain dimensional accuracy.

Qualifications
  • Technical degree from a trade school or community college, or 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and specifications.
  • Experience with Okuma, Hyundai, Bullard VTL, Fanuc, and other machine tools.
