Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Role

As a Maintenance Electrician (also known as Electrical Maintenance Technician, Industrial Electrician), you'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing and facility equipment. This includes PLC controlled printing and packaging equipment, utilizing a laptop for diagnosis. You'll also perform preventative maintenance, fabricate and weld components, and ensure compliance with safety codes.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma/GED.
  • 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in reading/interpreting blueprints and schematics (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic).
  • Experience with various systems including Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and Electronic.
  • Welding experience (tig, stick) and machining skills.
  • Ability to pass Ramsay Assessment (testing knowledge of mechanical and electrical skills).
  • Good attendance and work ethic, with the ability to work independently and prioritize work.
  • Physical capabilities: standing for 8 hours a day, lifting up to 50 lbs frequently, and wearing protective equipment as required.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends.
