Role

As a MIG Welder (also known as a Gas Metal Arc Welder, Steel Fabricator), you'll join, fabricate, and repair metal parts using specialized welding techniques and equipment. You'll interpret blueprints, ensure the structural soundness of completed welds, and comply with all safety requirements. You may also prepare materials and set up welding devices or robots.

Qualifications
  • Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and various hand and measuring tools.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting simple blueprints.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • MIG welder certification.
  • Relevant apprenticeship, experience, or vocational training (preferred).
