Maintenance Technician

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Mechanic), you'll be responsible for the corrective and preventive maintenance and repair of all rotational equipment. Duties include maintaining and troubleshooting PLCs, wiring and field devices, installing and maintaining industrial motors, and managing packaging equipment, conveyor systems, and refrigeration systems.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years industrial maintenance experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, PLC troubleshooting, electrical schematics, and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Servo Motors, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), and Conveyor Systems.
  • General knowledge of automation, PLCs, ladder logic, packaging equipment, and conveyor systems.
  • Preferred certifications: welding, electrical with emphasis on industrial, refrigeration (both freon and ammonia).
  • Good math and reasoning ability, and basic computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in a manufacturing environment.
