Quality Control Technician – 2nd Shift

Role

As a Quality Control Technician (also known as Quality Assurance Technician, Quality Inspector), you'll conduct quality control activities, including inspection, grading, and sorting of incoming materials. You'll perform plant audits, ensure product conformance with customer specifications, measure cast, extruded, rolled, and machined products, and investigate defective products. You'll also interpret customer and government specifications, ISO 9001 quality standards, drawings, and written procedures and work instructions.

Qualifications
  • Minimum two (2) years experience in the lead or other metal industry.
  • Minimum two (2) years experience programming/operating a portable measuring arm, preferably utilizing PolyWorks. Other CMM experience may be considered.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to read and interpret government and industry specifications.
  • Good problem-solving skills and self-motivation.
  • Physical ability to climb stairs, stand and walk for extended periods, and lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
