Casting Foundry Technician

Role

As a Casting Technician (also known as Foundry Technician, Babbitting Specialist), you'll play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by applying babbitt to raw materials using a variety of methods. Your responsibilities will include cleaning and disassembling fluid film bearings, grit blasting, setting up spin casting equipment, and applying molten babbitt by static or spin casting method.

Qualifications
  • Experience with foundry or casting room equipment and tools.
  • Understanding of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
  • Skills in Tig welding, fabrication, and acetylene torch operation.
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex data, work independently, and demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
