Diesel Truck Mechanic

Role

As a Diesel Mechanic (also known as Fleet Mechanic, Maintenance Technician), you'll be responsible for performing tractor and trailer repairs, conducting regular preventative maintenance, and running vehicle diagnostics. You'll work closely with the Fleet Manager and repair team to diagnose vehicle issues, plan repairs, and maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent, with 3+ years of hands-on experience with diesel engines and hydraulics.
  • Experience with the latest electronically controlled machinery and heavy equipment.
  • Proficiency in manual machining skills, blueprint reading, quality inspection, PLC troubleshooting, creating preventive maintenance plans, electrical schematics, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, hydraulics, and troubleshooting industrial automation equipment.
