CNC Field Service Technician

Role

As a Field Service Technician (also known as Field Support Specialist, Field Maintenance Technician), you'll be responsible for the installation and commissioning of new CNC machining centers, troubleshooting and repair of mechatronic systems, providing technical support to clients, and analyzing mechanical and electrical machine components for failure modes. This role involves 100% domestic travel, with the flexibility of working from home and traveling to client sites throughout the USA.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2-year degree, preferably a combination of business and technical.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with heavy metal removal product lines and processes.
  • Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, hydraulics, industrial automation equipment, and CNC machines.
  • Thorough understanding of electrical and mechanical systems used on 3 and 5 axis milling machining centers.
  • Excellent planning, time management, and communication skills.
