Role

As a Mechanic (also known as Maintenance Technician, Equipment Specialist), your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation of cosmetic manufacturing equipment. This includes mixers, fillers, conveyors, and packaging machinery. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, conduct preventive maintenance tasks, and assist in the installation of new equipment. You will also collaborate with the production team to prioritize maintenance activities and train staff on equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in mechanical engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a mechanic or maintenance technician, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with cosmetic manufacturing equipment and processes is a plus.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and controls is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
