CNC Mill Programmer

Role

As a CNC Mill Programmer (also known as CNC Machinist, CNC Programmer), you'll play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. You'll develop CNC programs, analyze blueprints and specifications, create program sheets for operators, troubleshoot machining issues, and maintain cutting tool inventory and programming documentation.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience programming CNC milling machines in a Metal Stamping manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with CAM software such as Mastercam, GibbsCAM, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of G-code programming and CNC machine operation.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and geometric tolerances.
  • Experience with cutting tool selection and optimization for CNC machining in various steel types.
  • Knowledge of cutting tool materials, speeds, and feeds.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certifications are a plus.
