Field Service Technician

Role

As a Field Service Technician (also known as Field Operations Specialist, Field Maintenance Technician), you will be a key member of our dynamic Field Operations team. Your responsibilities will include conducting customer service visits, performing day-to-day repairs, preventative maintenance for various clients, and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions. You will also work closely with manufacturers or field personnel to procure replacement parts.

Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of technical experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, AS degree; A+ certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in all products and services that the company offers, including installation methodologies, equipment protocol, and safety guidelines.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Experience with MathWorks, Autodesk AutoCAD, Microsoft Visual Basic, and SCADA software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Prior experience with ERP environments and planning in database tools preferred.
  • Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, complex technical issues in a clear, concise matter, to individuals with little or no technical background.
  • Ability to maintain electronic equipment and review technical documents to plan work.
  • Experience with PLC Wiring, Troubleshooting Industrial Automation Equipment, Machine Safety Inspections, Mechanical and Electrical Troubleshooting Skills, and PLC Programming.
