CNC Lathe Programmer/Operator

Role

As a CNC Machinist (also known as CNC Lathe Operator, CNC Programmer), you'll be responsible for producing quality machined parts, programming and setting up machines, prioritizing work orders, maintaining safe operations, and performing preventative maintenance on equipment. You'll also analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints, and specifications to calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speed, and feed rates.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in G Code.
  • Experience in programming and operating CNC Lathes.
  • Competence with Mazak Mazatrol, Mazak Fusion, and Fanuc Controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Strong math and reasoning skills.
  • Experience with micrometers, thread gauges, and calipers.
